Rules and instructions

General
A table can be reserved at the second hand store and the payment can be made either when you reserve a table or when you cash your sales. You will be required to show your ID when cashing. Cashing will be done after the sales period, on the following weekday. Cashing can be done from Monday to Friday before 6 pm (no cashing on Saturdays). Your money will be kept for two months.

You can bring your items on the previous evening, before your sales period, between 7:15-7.45 pm (on Saturdays between 4:15-4:45 pm).
Notice that this evening schedule is only for those who are starting. On the day that you empty your table, you will need to be finished by 6.30 pm on weekdays and by 3.30 pm on Saturdays. Notice that your renting period does not continue automatically. If you wish to continue renting the table, you need to let us know about it at least three days before the end of your renting period. In case your table is not empty by the time the next customer arrives with his or her items, we will empty your table and collect a 10€ fee, which will be reduced from your sales. When you empty your table, please be careful not to take unfamiliar items with you (sometimes things get moved from one table to another). We will check the content of your bags, when you take your items home. You can leave your CDs and DVDs at the cash desk to prevent theft. Please make sure the clothes you bring for sale are clean The sale of following items is prohibited: tobacco, alcoholic beverages, dangerous substances, edged weapons, adult entertainment material, food or any illegal pirated products. We have a place for lost and found items, which do not have a price tag anymore. It is emptied every two weeks.

Please make sure your items are not on the corridor or on the floor. If there are so many products on your table that they start covering an adjacent table, the store personnel has the right to withdraw products charging 5€.
Remember that clean and neat tables are the ones that usually attract customers the most.

Price tags
We use bar coded price tags. When you reserve a table, we will give you two sheets of price tags for free. Additional price tag sheets cost 0,50€ a piece. It is not allowed to reproduce price tag sheets. You need to fill the price tag clearly with the price and a short description of the item (e.g. red t-shirt). If the item is damaged in some way, you should specify it on the price tag. If you later decide to change the price of an item, you will need to make a new price tag. The cashier will not accept items on which the old price has been smudged and a new price has been added (this is also to prevent theft and scam). If you have left CDs or DVDs on the cash desk, you need to write on the price tags: “levy kassalla” (disk on the cash desk). Remember that the lower the price, the better the chance to get the item sold.

Furniture sale
You can bring furniture for sale for three weeks. We take a 4€ fee per item. We also take a 20% sales fee. You need to take your furniture away when the sales time ends. If the furniture is not taken away by the date of the agreement, it becomes property of the second hand store.

Responsibilities
You are responsible for your items and keeping your table organized (we recommend a daily check). The store is not responsible for damaged or lost items. There is no change/return policy for products. We prevent theft by using surveillance cameras and staying alert. The second hand store is not liable in case of fire, water damage, theft or vandalism.

Wishing you the best on your sales,

The shop crew
